Nestled in the Souris Hospital, our clinic is conveniently located just off Green Street. A quick turn to the right as you enter the hospital doors leads you to our cozy and welcoming space. originally stablished in 1988 by Dr. Jack, the clinic has now beautifully transformed into a dental hygiene clinic by Falyn MacDonald, RDH. Falyn’s goal is to create a relaxed environment where every patient feels like family.
In March 2023, the PEI Dental Hygiene Association gained self-regulation, allowing hygienists to work independently and establish their own clinics. It wasn’t until a chance encounter at a hockey rink that the idea for Seaside Smiles was born. Falyn was chatting with a local Souris resident when she learned that the community was about to lose its dental services. Knowing the importance of dental care in a rural area and not wanting her husband’s hometown to lose such a vital service, Falyn decided to take action. She began the process of opening what has now become Seaside Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic.
